Clean rooms - excellent location for exploring the area and close to Santander. Friendly staff that try their best with English. Great bar and restaurant with a delicious evening menu for just 10 Euro's. Lovely area with lots to explore - including nearby caves with prehistoric drawings.
Can't recommend highly enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were lovely and the bar/restaurant areas were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional and great value, with a three-course evening meal for only 10 euros. The continental breakfast was also very good. The location was beautiful, with a charming little town to explore and a picturesque riverside walk. Additionally, there were prehistoric caves with intriguing drawings just a mile away.
Felt great, no complaints.

I had a great experience staying at La Terraza. Despite the staff not speaking English, they welcomed me warmly. The bedroom was lovely with a comfortable bed, and surprisingly quiet despite being on a main road. I appreciated that I could park my motorcycle in the secure hotel grounds. Before leaving, I enjoyed a walk around the beautiful area.
Nothing to dislike 😊

I was truly impressed by the beautiful decoration and ambiance of the hotel. The traditional Spanish style, with its charming ornaments and cozy corners, made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas, such as the terrace and the dining room, were well maintained and provided a peaceful space for relaxation. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff were always available to offer assistance, and there were no obstacles or stairs that made it difficult for me to navigate around the premises.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive to our needs. Sometimes, it felt like they were a bit preoccupied or not fully focused on providing excellent service.

The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden and the variety of drinks available at the bar. a great experience.
The only downside was that there was no hairdryer in the room.

So many interesting things to do in the region: beautiful beaches, amazing mountains for outdoor activities, medieval villages, and prehistoric caves. The hotel is charming and has a great on-site bar. Santillana del Mar is a short distance away.
Oh, and let's not forget the wonderful WiFi connection. Perfect for those moments when you want to connect with your loved ones.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The choice of warm colors and beautiful artwork made me feel right at home. The seating areas in the lobby and terrace were perfect for rest and relaxation. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff was always available to assist me with my luggage and the hotel had ramps and handrails throughout, making it easy for me to move around.
The only thing I would have asked for is a better selection of activities specifically tailored for senior guests. While the hotel had some options for recreation, I believe there is room for improvement in providing more senior-friendly activities.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Puente Viesgo, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's garden was absolutely stunning and provided a safe parking spot for our motorcycle. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even though we didn't speak Spanish. Our room had a lovely view of the garden and the bed was extremely comfortable. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, better than some 4-star hotels I've stayed in. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast and the value for money. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Puente Viesgo.

Great value for the price, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the main road, making it easy to access. the on-site restaurant served delicious food.
The noise from the kitchen area below our room was a bit bothersome. I would recommend asking for a different room if staying here again.

The hotel offered good value for the price, with comfortable and clean rooms. I enjoyed the large and comfortable bed, providing a good night's sleep. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food at a reasonable price. The hotel's location was also convenient, being close to the famous caves and a short drive from the ferry.
One major downside was the noise from the road, as the hotel is located right next to it. This made the room a bit noisy, especially with the windows open.
